The DIMINISHING JIM album, “The Monster I’ve Become”, has been remixed and remastered for digital distribution. The album was the 2012 sophomore effort from the Connecticut indie rockers and has been considered the definitive album in their catalog. The re-release includes the 13 original tracks, plus three new additional versions of re-worked songs that dive into different genres to celebrate the “10 + 1” anniversary of “The Monster I’ve Become”.
This ambitious original collection of songs had a limited, local release and was never made available for the major streaming platforms. It offers the listener a myriad of musical styles and moods. Featuring the band’s signature alt rock sound along with influences of euro-rock, shoegaze, and stoner-rock. The band hopes this anniversary re-release of “The Monster I’ve Become” will breath new life for some of their favorite older songs and reach a wider digital audience.
